View the Last Lines of a Log File
When building web apps — like in PHP — we often need to troubleshoot errors by opening the Apache error log.
Typically, we open it in a text editor and scroll to the bottom.
Then do it again for every new error.
With ViewLastX, just one click shows you the bottom lines instantly.
To close the window, simply press Esc. Much easier.
Change Font and Size
Every programmer has their own preferences.
Feel free to adjust the font and size to whatever you like.
Make It Easier to Read
Log files hard to read? Of course — they usually are.
To make things clearer, you can add separators between entries.
Just go to
Settings >
Preferences, then check
Add blank line between entries.
